Coteaux du Languedoc Tonneaux - Domaine St. Jean

4 grapes

At the most recent Medicine Hat Liquor Store wine club tasting, (the theme: Mediterranean wines), this wine for the Langudeoc region, was a real discovery for me!

Profound red colour, near ink with gobs of black fruit and plum aroamas that carry on to the palate. Chewy structure, concentrated, with real round tannins that finish with a smooth balance and hints of spice and dark chocolate.

If the 1998 pleased me that much, I can't wait for the 1999 which is supposed to be even better. But until then, don't miss out on this real gem of a wine.
