2002 Lindemans Dry Riesling Bin 75 - CSPC 638973
(readily available in liquor stores retail $11.00)

3.5 grapes

Lindemans wines promise more than the partnering of quality grapes and craftsmanship. Every wine also contains the spirit and passion of our founder - Dr Henry J Lindeman.

The Lindemans Bin Series wines are made with fruit sourced from key grape growing regions in Australia. This ability of Lindemans to source and blend wines from different regions, produces wine of a consistently outstanding quality regardless of varying vintage conditions.

As further evidence of Lindemans understanding of the demands of their customers, the 2002 Lindemans Riesling is now available in the revolutionary BVS screw cap. The BVS (Boutille Vis Sceu). screw cap, thanks to its unique 'roll down' seal over the lip of the bottle, provides a near-perfect closure.

The generous flavours and contemporary, easy-drinking style of Lindemans Bin 75 Riesling combines easily with food and most social occasions to deliver maximum enjoyment from the first glass to the last.

Grape Varieties: Riesling

Vineyard Regions: Padthaway in South Australia

Vintage Conditions: Padthaway enjoyed an excellent start to the season with regular rainfalls and vigorous vine growth. Summer conditions were cool but warmer than most other regions. This, combined with a warm, dry
autumn resulted in a trouble free vintage with low yields.

Winemaker Wayne Falkenberg's Comments:

Colour: Pale green with water white hues.

Nose: Fresh aromas of citrus blossom and mandarin.

Palate: Intensely fresh citrus and floral flavours supported by zesty natural acid and fruit sweetness. An element of mineral complexity combines with the generous fruit flavours to provide a long lingering palate and fresh clean finish.

Serving and Cellaring Suggestions: Intensely fresh citrus and floral flavours supported by zesty natural acid and fruit sweetness. An element of mineral complexity combines with the generous fruit flavours to provide a long lingering palate and fresh clean finish.
