1999 Hendry Zinfandel Block 7 - Napa Valley, California

4 grapes

Importer: Harvest Vintage Imports

Hendry Zinfandel is a Zin for Zin-lovers. After years of growing and selling fruit to top winemakers including Opus One, Mondavi and Rosenblum, George Hendry went out on his own and now produces some of the most distinctive wines in Napa. His true passion is Zinfandel, and this wine shows you why!

Hendry Zinfandel, Block 7, is deep ruby red in colour with a nose of brambleberry, raspberry, vanilla and spice. With mild acidity and soft tannins, the wine offers intense flavors of blackberries, cherries and spice, with well-integrated oak. It is full-bodied, smooth and polished, with a long, rich finish.

A wonderful and delicious find.

The Purple Feet Rating System:
