Bincoletto William Bincoletto is the President and principal consultant of William Bincoletto & Associates. He has over 27 years in the liquor and wine industry as well as the food & beverage industry. He is also the founder and Director of the Alberta Wine Institute in Edmonton, an educational centre for agents, consumers, and restauranteurs. William's training includes advanced enology/wine training through comprehensive studies with the Association of Italian Sommeliers, the Italian Wine Academy, the German Wine Academia, the French Wine Academy, and years of experience in several wineries. William's experience with the food and beverage industry is extensive, including Sommelier of Westin Hotels & Resorts (Edmonton and Calgary), The Four Seasons (Ottawa) and the prestigious La Tour d'Argent in Paris. He has also served as Customer Services Manager for the ALCB from 1988 - 1993, as well as serving as a Team Partner in the Sommelier Program of the Alberta Tourism Education Council. Since 1994, William has been working as an advisor for several liquor retailers across Alberta. He is the principal educator for the Alberta Liquor Store Association and all their 345 members. Because of his extensive credentials, William has been retained by many educational institutions, including Grant McEwan Community College, NAIT, and the University of Alberta Faculty Club. William also is a freelance writer and media commentator, having shared his skills with the Edmonton Sun, CBC-TV, Radio Canada, Vendor, and Western Spirits. He also has a weekly column in the restaurant section of FYI Edmonton (www.fyiedmonton.com).
Sibéal comes from a diversified background and has gained her business experience through progressively complex positions in both the private and public sector. Her background includes Director of Research for Economic Development Edmonton, Northern Alberta Liaison Officer for the City of Edmonton, variously responsible positions with Westin Hotels in Edmonton and Calgary, shopping centre management in Edmonton and theatre administration in Alberta and BC. Sibéal holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Arts from the University of Alberta and is currently completing an additional Masters of Human Ecology in Small Business Development. She has recently been asked to sit on the Royal Bank Business Council, a high profile hands-on working group who support small businesses who are experiencing challenges in their development.
